No doubt many of you will have noticed athletes, particularly swimmers, with reddish, round marks on their bodies as they prepare for their race.
These cupping marks are the result of blood being drawn to the region to stimulate healing.
This treatment, is generally painless, encourages the tissue to develop new blood flow, and is effective at stretching tight fascia and muscle tissue, something we would all benefit from.
So, how could it benefit me?
Cupping can be applied to almost any part of the body, including; the torso, legs, arms, and even the soles of your feet, and can:

- aid with soft tissue release to areas including, quads, hamstrings, and wider back area
- help scar tissue by reducing adhesions, improving sensation, reducing indentations, and increasing mobility and range of motion.
- release symptoms of foot conditions, such as plantar fasciitis, relieve Achilles tendon strains and reduce calve tightness.
- target specific deep tissue trigger points, caused by everyday activities, such as desk-working, driving, and all repetitive manual work.
